Adam Yauch, also known as MCA (from the Beastie Boys), has passed away of cancer, of which he was diagnosed with in 2009. This especially was brought to my attention as one of my uncles, and probably my father's best friend, lost a battle to cancer as well. I never really developed a relationship with my uncle before he passed and I just felt a strange connection to MCA when I heard the news. Rest In Peace, Uncle James.
