So if you're not into the old school... like you should be... you probably don't know jack about Janet Jackson... not pun intended. Now, while that's absolutely horrible, and all, at least know that the simple sample that was used for the beat of Kendrick Lamar's track, "Poetic Justice" used Janet's track, "Anytime, Anyplace."

I personally love Janet's track. I'm not a fan of Lamar, really, but the song is alright. I'm not gonna let me overall opinion of the guy over rule the song, because it is decent.

Anyways, hear the two, compare, draw up some conclusions. What do YOU think? Did he truly do it "justice," or... not?

Oh, and by the way, Ms. Janet Jackson played in a movie with Tupac Shakur called "Poetic Justice," in case you were wondering the title reference. Amazing 90s film. I recommend you watch it, if you haven't heard of it, or haven't gotten the chance to, yet.
