In a matter of approx. two minutes, I found a lot about this guy. I just typed in "Teebs," and nothing really official came up. However, I did see a bigcartel site pop up, and I clicked it, not only out of curiosity, but the description in the Google search said "LA based visual artist and--"
Stop.
LA?
Visual Artist?
Alright, go.
"--Experimental Beats Producer."
WHAAAA?! So, not only is he (a guy), a music producer, he's a visual artist. That explains his unique album cover. Not sure why, but my man Jean-Michel Basquiat came to mind when I saw his bigcartel site. Pretty cool. Canvases, and all.

For those of you who don't know, bigcartel is a clothing website, where anyone can distribute their line of clothing. So of course, noticing the canvas at the top, I assumed his art is on clothes. Duh. It is.
He makes some tight t-shirt designs, might I add. He has a very unique style, and like artsits such as Baquiat and Andy Warhol, and so on, they have a style recognizable in all of their art. I know there's a word for it, but I can't think of it. So basically, if you looked at his work, and it was untitled, you would know it was his. And that's something I like right off the bat.
So now that you know he's both a visual artist and producer, let's get back to his album.
I believe I was researching a DSLR short film on YouTube, to compare video quality between cameras, and being that these videos usually are short with instrumental background music, I'm not surprised he was playing over the video.
(The song was "Arthurs's Birds)
I heard it and immediately looked for his music elsewhere. I had to hear more. So I Youtube searched his music and came to like it. His genres consist of "experimental," "downtempo (don't even know if that's like... a genre or not)," and "lo-fi," according to Last.fm.

Who does he remind me of? He reminds me a bit of Fortune Howl, but not completely. Just a tad bit. Fortune Howl, is a bit more uptempo and random. Teebs is a bit more subtle, chill, and "vibey."
Favorite songs off the album: Arthurs's Birds, and Humming Birds.
(Something about those birds, I guess.)
Oh and uh... this album was released two years ago, in 2010.
