My teacher, surprisingly enough, is a hip hop head. He introduced me to some underground hip hop music simply by playing instrumentals while we work. He goes on Last.Fm and types in "instrumental hip hop," and usually whatever comes up, I fall in love with. During the time this song played, I was listening to my own music during free time, and caught the tail end of this song called "Broken Toy" by Flako. I searched the song on YouTube and head the whole thing, and sure enough, I fell in love with it. I actually plan to spit some bars over this dope beat, sooner or later...sooner than later.
