One of my all time favorite songs of the year, Ab-Soul's "Pineal Gland."
The music video is absolutely genius. I love how it runs almost parallel in different directions, opposite but on point. Very creative, 10/10. Actually one of my favorite music videos of all time, also. There isn't much to explain on the lyrics, it's either you get it or you don't. We all will have our time to understand it. So if you don't understand, don't rush it. If you're one of those people who believe this video is at all associated with Satanism, in this video somehow angers you, great. Let it pull out these emotions. You feel this way because you don't know any better and you are fearful. And when the day comes that you understand these words, you'll understand why it was crucial for you to first "hate" these words before you loved them.
